The Process

Our kits are quick and easy to use.

Fingerprint Charms

Once you’ve placed an order and payment has cleared for fingerprint jewellery you will be sent (via first class post) a fingerprint moulding kit with a stamped addressed envelope to return your moulds.

The kit comprises of two different coloured compounds which you mix together and then press the finger into. It then hardens so it can be safely sent back to us. It comes with full instructions and enough compound for more than one use so you don’t have to worry if the first try doesn’t go as planned!

If needed, you can purchase additional compound, please contact us here.

You will also be sent an order form which will give you the opportunity to add any further notes about how you would like the finished charm to look. You can choose if you prefer the fingerprints to be darkened to help show up the detail, or left without this.

Handprint, Footprint & Pawprint Charms

Once you’ve placed an order and payment has cleared for handprint, footprint or paw print jewellery you will be sent an inkless wipe kit (via first class post) with a stamped addressed envelope to return your prints. (Prints can be returned by email in a high resolution, if preferred. Either scan or photograph your print(s).)

The kit comprises of a dry non toxic wipe (developed in the USA for use with newborns), and two A5 sheets of specially coated paper. The wipe leaves no mess so great for children and pets, and the print magically appears a few seconds after the print has been made. The prints don’t have to be perfect as any smudges can be removed digitally before use. You will have enough space to make multiple prints so we can choose the best one.

If needed, you can purchase additional compound, please contact us here.

You will also be sent an order form which will give you the opportunity to add any further notes about how you would like the finished charm to look. Handprint, footprint and paw prints can be darkened, left not darkened, or even be coloured with a choice of dark pink, light pink, blue, light blue or purple. (Prefer a different colour? Please ask us.)

Please note: some detail can be lost when colour is applied and we think it works best with hand and paw prints only as toes can sometimes be obscured when coloured.

Artwork Charms

Once you’ve placed an order for artwork jewellery you will need to send us a copy of the picture you wish to use. You can either send this to us by post or by email. If you wish to send it by post, we can send you a stamped addressed envelope for it’s return. Emails should be sent in a high resolution. Simple line drawings in black felt tip pen work best. Remember, if colours are used to draw the picture, they will not be shown on your print, but you can opt to colour an area in dark pink, light pink, blue, or purple. (Prefer a different colour? Please ask us.) The lines of the drawing will be darkened so the artwork can be clearly seen on your finished jewellery. You will be emailed or sent an order form which will give you the opportunity to add any further notes about how you would like the finished charm to look.

Please Note

If you already have a print, you may use this. We keep all prints so they are all ready for further purchases.

With any order, you will be able to describe exactly how you would like your finished piece to look. Drawings are a great way to do this if you wish. Choose from a mirror-like shine or a brushed matt finish. You are, of course, welcome to leave the decisions on the small finishing touches to us if you are not sure.

In all cases, you will receive a message to let you know your prints have been received. If you have not heard confirmation within 5 days of returning your prints, please contact us.

You will also be informed when your jewellery is being dispatched so you know when to look out for it in the post! It will be sent via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm service (which delivers Monday to Friday).
